Art, Etc.

We strive to offer a range of unique art-goods, from locally hand-thrown pottery to greeting cards to jewelry and everything in-between.
It is our intention to offer as much locally produced artwork as possible.
We take great care to make sure that our suppliers, both local and abroad, are compensated fairly. All of our art, greeting cards, jewelry, clothing, and miscellaneous home-goods (travel mugs, plates, hair-brushes. etc.) have been traded fairly and are made with sustainable materials.

Bakery Goods

We emphasize fresh, local companies above all else. We make it a priority to offer a range of fresh baked goods from local artisans like Albemarle Baking Co. and Breadworks, who bring in fresh loaves daily.
Our gluten-free customers have a range of delicious options to choose from. We offer a great selection of gluten free breads and treats, both fresh and frozen. And we only carry brands we love (and that we think you'll love, too!).
We strive to offer a broad range of bakery goods from companies we respect (both local brands and nationally top-selling brands). Our baked goods range from baguettes, bagels, cookies, lavash, pizza & pie crusts, pita, tortillas, english muffins, and a bevy of beautiful loaves.
We never allow artificial colors, flavors, refined sweeteners, or trans fats in our bakery goods.

Bulk

We strive to offer a range of interesting bulk items, some of which you can't find anywhere else. We carry: coffee, tea, herbs (both culinary and medicinal), spices, salts, beans, lentils, grains, cereals, honey, nut butters, flours, dried fruit, nuts & seeds, trail mixes, snacks, and treats.
We offer the best bulk prices in town, and we strive to keep staples affordable.
All of our staple grains, including corn, are non-GMO.
Many of our bulk items are organically grown, though we offer both conventional and organic versions of most products to suit all budgets.
We take care to be aware of Fair Trade and Direct Trade standards, and often switch suppliers to make sure that our products are offering farmers and producers fair compensation.
Bins are regularly restocked, so ingredients are super fresh.
We are committed to reducing the cost (for your wallet and for the environment) of wasteful product packaging. We encourage you to bring in reusable jars and bags from home to stock up on your bulk items.

Around half of our cheese is hand-cut by us; we know and test the quality of our cheeses regularly.
We only carry cheeses that we think are fantastic. We think you'll love them too!

We carry as many locally-produced items as possible.
We carry a number of strictly BPA-free canned goods.
We strive to offer products packaged with recyclable or compostable materials.
Grains and flours are never bleached, bromated, or otherwise stripped of nutrition.
All of our chocolate is organic and/or Fair Trade, and made with wholesome sweeteners.
We sell only whole sweeteners: turbinado/demerera, sucanat, honey, maple syrup, agave, coconut sugar, date sugar, brown rice syrup, and sorghum syrup.
Our products never contain artificial chemical additives (colorings, flavorings, etc.).
We support brands that are verified non-GMO.

Juice & Smoothie Bar

We use organic and/or local, spray-free produce for our fresh juices.
We only use frozen, organic fruits, berries, and organic juices and milks for our smoothies, never sugary fillers or ice.
We offer high quality & organic extracts, herbs, protein supplements, nuts & nut-butters, dates, super-foods, omega-3 supplement oils, yogurts, dairy and non-dairy milks, and juices as additions for smoothies (and juices when applicable).
We cater to special diets (dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-conscious, etc.).
All of our packaging is recyclable, with the exception of straws.

We buy our produce from local farms when the option is available.
All produce labeled local is grown on small family farms within sixty miles of Charlottesville.
Integral Yoga Natural Foods carries locally grown produce year round.
We highly value the farmers who grow our produce and we believe they should be treated fairly. We buy Certified Fair Trade fruits and vegetables whenever possible.
