Summer months. Right now we are receiving lots of local produce including sugar
snap peas, chard, kale and green beans. Locally grown fruits available in June
include cherries and blackberries. Make sure you sign up for our local produce email if
you would like weekly updates on the freshest locally grown items.

kombucha these days. The unpasteurized varieties have come under question
recently because of the alcohol content in the products. Kombucha has not been
recalled by the FDA at this time, but some stores and some distributors do not want to
carry the product until testing has been completed and the manufacturers prove that
their products contain less than .05% alcohol. All the companies are complying with
the testing. Because the FDA has not demanded that unpasteurized kombucha be
pulled from the market, IYNF will continue to sell some brands of unpasteurized
kombucha. At this time Katalyst brand kombucha, which is unpasteurized, is available
and Kombucha Wonder Drink, which is pasteurized, is available at IYNF.
